Swan Lake at Home of the Arts

Coming to HOTA Surfers Paradise for one night only, Swan Lake is the critically acclaimed ballet by Tchaikovsky that has been performed all over the world since its premiere in 1877.

Adapted once more for stage by the renowned Imperial Russian Ballet Company, this brand new production of Swan Lake isn’t to be missed for lovers of both opera and ballet, boasting world-class choreography, a heartfelt story and all the original compositions by celebrated Russian composer Tchaikovsky.

Swan Lake follows beautiful young princess Odette, cursed to turn into a white swan by day. After chancing upon the handsome Prince Siegfried, a timeless tale of love develops between the two, only to be disrupted by evil sorcerer Baron Von Rothbart and his suitor daughter, Odile - a jealous black swan.

Featuring world-class ballet dancers, magical sets and a soundtrack from one of the world’s greatest composers, Swan Lake is an unforgettable ballet production for all ages, which touches upon timeless themes of love, hope and corruption. See it this spring in Surfers Paradise, with one evening performance at Home of the Arts on Saturday, October 12.

Vodafone Gold Coast 600 2019

Don’t miss high-speed action in the streets of Surfers Paradise this October with the return of the annual Supercars Gold Coast 600.

Surfers Paradise becomes a giant racetrack each year during this adrenaline-charged event, which offers one of the most thrilling times to be on the Gold Coast as racing events such as East Coast Bullbars SuperUtes Series, Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup, Aussie Racing Series and CAMS Australia GT Championships bring a whole new atmosphere to the Gold Coast’s number-one tourist destination.

For three back-to-back days, be in Surfers Paradise to soak up the racing action alongside a fantastic program of live entertainment, family attractions and street stalls in the streets opposite Surfers Paradise Beach. The all-new SuperKids Zone will allow kids to have their own race track experience, with must-have merchandise at Merchandise Valley and flowing drinks throughout the event at Coopers Roll Bar.

This year, the 2019 Gold Coast 600 will feature a brand new music lineup to catch at the Club 600 Stage and Hill Stage, with a few confirmed artists including DJ Carl Cox, DJ Eric Powell, Hot Dub Time Machine, Example, Mental As Anything, The Vanns and many more.

It’s returning in fifth gear - head to Surfers Paradise for Gold Coast 600 2019 from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27.
